Scott has previously held roles at the National Disability Insurance Agency, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and the Department of Defence. His areas of interest include national security, customer-journey design, public health, development economics, and the application of data to solve complex problems in these spaces.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and a Master of International and Development Economics.
