Brian Hartzer is an experienced executive who spent over 20 years in senior leadership roles, including at the Royal Bank of Scotland Group, ANZ Banking Group, and more recently as CEO of the Westpac Banking Group.  Prior to his banking career, Brian spent 10 years with First Manhattan Consulting Group, where he focused on the use of data to drive operational improvements and service delivery.

As CEO of Quantium Health, Brian will lead Quantium’s joint venture with Discovery – the South Africa-based global leader in healthcare delivery and insurance. Brian is passionate about partnering with the health sector to address today’s challenges and shape the future of healthcare by deploying data science and AI at scale. For the past three years, Brian served as a member of the Quantium Advisory Board and cultivated a deep understanding of the Quantium business, talent, and culture.

Brian is Board Chair of digital finance service Beforepay and workforce intelligence AI platform Reejig, and is President of the Australian Museum Trust. ​Brian holds a Bachelor’s degree from Princeton University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.​
