Neil has over 20 years of experience in health care consulting, including leadership roles as the Head of the Australian and New Zealand health care practice of the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), and as the Founder and Managing Director of Health Outcomes Australia.

His work focuses on the development and use of information in health care, especially regarding improving patient outcomes and value for money for patients, insurers, medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers and governments.

Neil has a medical degree (MBBCh) and an MSc in Economics (both awarded with distinction), and he obtained a DPhil in Economics as a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University. He has published over 40 articles in the fields of health economics, econometrics, epidemiology, and health care financing and sits on several editorial boards.
