Alykhan has over 10 years of experience in consulting in the healthcare sector, and he has worked with major hospital groups, pharmaceutical and MedTech companies, and development agencies in South Africa and across Africa.

Alykhan has extensive experience in using big data analytics to drive impact in private and public health sectors. This experience includes a large transformation program at a multi-facility hospital group, market entry and distribution strategies for pharmaceutical and MedTech companies in Nigeria, South Africa and East Africa, publishing real world clinical and cost outcome studies using large healthcare datasets, and supporting the vaccine rollout in Ethiopia and South Africa.

Prior to Quantium Health, Alykhan was a Principal with the Healthcare practice at Boston Consulting Group in Johannesburg and a Project Manager at the World Economic Forum.

Alykhan has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Infectious Disease and a PhD in Clinical Immunology from the University of Cape Town.
